1. I can't see all the data on the screen and it won't let me scroll?

The problem is either your screen resolution or you have a lot of internet "toolbars" like AOL/Google,etc. The answer in both cases is to adjust your screen resolution or disable some of the toolbars.

For the Best experience using the AdvancedVideoAuctions website or Bidder Module, it is desirable to set your screen resolution to 1024x768. The instructions below will help you set your resolution.

1. Close all Programs.

2. Click the RIGHT mouse button on a blank section of your screen.

3. LEFT click on the Properties option.

4. A new window will pop up, on that window select the Settings tab

5. In the bottom half of the Settings window you will see Screen Resolution

6. Click on the slider and move it until the numbers below the slider show 1024x768

7. Click on OK

To Disable toolbars, RIGHT click in the toolbar area and uncheck it if possible.

YOUR READY! Open up your internet browser and go to www.advancedvideoauctions.com

2. What kind of computer or internet connection do I require to view the website or watch a sale?

Most any computer less than 5 or 6 years old should work fine, some software is required to exist on your computer including a web browser, Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox are recommended. The latest version of the Flash Player is required and Java needs to be enabled on your web browser. (by default it generally is enabled). http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/ for the latest Flash version.

Your internet connection is very important to the quality of the video you recieve, as well as how fast the catalog data is sent to your computer. Cable is generally the fastest most of us can afford, but it is not generally available in cow country. DSL through the phone company can work very well, and given the option the higher the download speed the better for viewing. You can check the speed of your internet service by going to http://www.speedtest.net/ To do the test, just click on one of the New Orleans server (it is the closest to us). Any download speed over 750Kb/s download is great and down to 512Kb/s will work fine. Anything slower may have some viewing issues during live auctions.

3. What do I need to do to either list a single lot for sale or stream my Live Auction?

In all cases, please send us a message through either the Contact Us form or the Sell Online form.

We will get back with you to discuss your requirements and how we can assit in the Marketing of your production.
